Hyundai Verna Facelift Launched in India
The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift has been officially launched in India, marking a significant update for the popular sedan. This new model is expected to enhance Hyundai’s competitive edge in the market, particularly against rivals such as the Honda City, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
The price range for the updated Verna is set between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom), making it accessible to a wide range of consumers. The new Verna is available in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10, catering to diverse customer preferences.
Under the hood, the facelifted Verna offers two engine options: a 1.5 litre NA petrol engine that produces 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generating 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque. This variety aims to meet the needs of both performance enthusiasts and everyday drivers.
In terms of safety, the new Verna is equipped with a Level-2 ADAS suite and seven airbags, significantly enhancing passenger protection. Additionally, the interior has been revamped with dual 10.25-inch screens and a new D-cut steering wheel, providing a modern and user-friendly experience.
Other notable features include a powered tailgate and a built-in dashcam, which add convenience and security for users. The updated Verna also introduces two new color options: Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte, allowing buyers to personalize their vehicles further.
