Mahindra & Mahindra introduced on Monday the aggressive inspection and alternative of diesel engines on some vehicles manufactured at the Nasik plant. There is a suspicion of untimely put on of engine elements due to contaminated gas obtained at the manufacturing facility.
“This is a limited batch of less than 600 vehicles manufactured between June 21st and July 2nd, 2021 and is in line with the company’s customer-centric approach,” the firm submitted to regulators. It is acknowledged in the doc.
Inspections and subsequent corrections are carried out freed from cost for all clients contacted individually by the firm.
“The company is actively implementing this activity to provide customers with a hassle-free experience. This behavior also complies with voluntary norms regarding vehicle recalls,” he mentioned.
