CS Reviews State Pragati Portal and Reforms in Dehradun

In a significant development, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan held a review of the State Pragati Portal in Dehradun on April 1, 2023. This initiative aims to monitor all significant State and Centrally sponsored schemes through the portal, ensuring comprehensive oversight.

During the review, Bardhan directed all departments to upload details of their major schemes onto the platform at the earliest. He emphasized the necessity of this action to facilitate better governance and transparency in the administration.

Additionally, the Chief Secretary instructed departments to fast-track pending reforms under the D-BRAP-2025 initiative, which includes 154 reform points that all states and union territories are required to implement. The reforms are designed to transform governance through digitization, transparency, and time-bound service delivery.

In line with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) guidelines, a real-time monitoring dashboard for service delivery has been developed. This tool is expected to enhance the efficiency of public services and improve the overall business environment.

Atal Dulloo, a key official, underscored the significance of these reforms in improving citizen welfare and fostering a conducive business environment across Jammu and Kashmir. He stated, “The pace of reforms must be sustained and tangible outcomes achieved without exception.”

Furthermore, Bardhan highlighted the importance of ensuring 100 percent implementation of the prescribed reforms, reiterating that these changes are essential for enhancing the quality of governance.
