RRB NTPC Admit Card Released
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the RRB NTPC admit card for 2026 on March 12, 2026. This development marks a crucial update for candidates who have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to participate in the examination.
Prior to this announcement, candidates were left in anticipation, with many expressing concerns about the timeline for the admit card release. The uncertainty surrounding the exam schedule had created a sense of anxiety among the thousands of applicants vying for the available positions.
With the release of the admit card, candidates can now download it from the official website, rrbcdg.gov.in. This card is essential for entry into the Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1), which is set to take place from March 16 to March 27, 2026.
The CBT 1 exam will feature a total of 100 questions, with each question carrying one mark. Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the exam, and it will be conducted in three shifts each day. This structure aims to accommodate the large number of applicants, with a total of 5,810 vacancies available for the NTPC Graduate Level posts.
In addition to the exam details, the admit card includes important information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, and the address of the exam centre. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam centre.
Moreover, candidates should be aware of the exam’s negative marking policy, which deducts 1/3 marks for each incorrect answer. This aspect emphasizes the importance of careful answering during the test.
For candidates with disabilities (PwBD), an additional 30 minutes of time will be provided, ensuring that the examination is accessible to all. This consideration reflects the RRB’s commitment to inclusivity in the recruitment process.
As the exam date approaches, candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly and stay updated with any further announcements from the RRB. The release of the admit card is a pivotal step in the recruitment process, and it is crucial for candidates to be well-prepared.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional instructions or changes that may arise as the exam date nears. Candidates should regularly check the official RRB website for the latest updates.
