RTE Online: Rajasthan Lottery Result 2026 Announced
The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE admission lottery result for 2026, affecting over 6.3 lakh applicants. This lottery system is designed to allocate free seats in private schools under the Right to Education Act, ensuring access to education for children across the state.
Parents can now check the lottery results on the official RTE Rajasthan website, rajpsp.nic.in. Selected students are required to complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. This process is crucial for confirming their admission and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order.
The application process for free admission in private schools began on February 20 and concluded on March 10, 2026. During this period, a total of 19.92 lakh applications were received for admissions in 33,137 private schools across Rajasthan. This high volume of applications highlights the demand for quality education and the importance of the RTE initiative.
To facilitate the admission process, parents were allowed to select a maximum of five schools during their application. They can also change the order of their selected schools until March 16, 2026. This flexibility aims to accommodate the preferences of families while ensuring that students are placed in schools that meet their needs.
For those who are selected, the necessary documents for verification include an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and a BPL card if applicable. Schools will verify these documents until March 25, 2026, ensuring that all applicants meet the eligibility criteria set forth by the education department.
Classes for all admitted students are scheduled to commence on April 1, 2026. If seats remain vacant after the initial round of allotment, a second phase of school allotment will take place on April 7, 2026. This additional phase aims to fill any remaining vacancies and provide more opportunities for students seeking admission.
Parents also have the option to register grievances regarding the admission process on the RTE portal until April 2, 2026. This feature is designed to address any concerns that may arise during the admission process and ensure transparency and fairness in the selection of students.
The selection of students for free seats in private schools through the lottery system continues to be a significant aspect of the Right to Education Act in Rajasthan. Observers expect that this initiative will further enhance educational access for children in the state, although details regarding the overall impact of this year’s lottery remain unconfirmed.
