<p>Hyundai India has given a 2026 model-year update to the Hyundai Verna. The new Hyundai Verna has been launched at a starting price of Rs 10.98 lakh (ex-showroom).</p>
<p>The updated Verna is offered in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6 Plus, HX8, and HX10. This new version is 30 mm longer than the previous model, with a total length of 4565 mm, and features a boot space of 528 litres.</p>
<p>In terms of safety, the new Verna includes seven airbags, an upgrade from the six airbags in the previous model. Mr. Tarun Garg, Managing Director &#038; CEO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, stated, &#8220;The new Hyundai VERNA is more than a product upgrade, it is a statement.&#8221;</p>
<p>The vehicle continues to offer a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, with the latter producing 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. The turbo petrol DCT variant is priced Rs 1.12 lakh more than its previous top variant.</p>
<p>Additionally, the new Verna features a built-in dashcam and a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor, enhancing its technological offerings. It is also available in two new color options: Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.</p>
<p>Deliveries of the new Verna are expected to start by the end of the month. The new Hyundai Verna strengthens its legacy as India’s most aspirational and technologically advanced premium sedan, according to industry observers.</p>
<p>The updated Verna receives cosmetic upgrades, new features, added safety, and much more, reflecting Hyundai&#8217;s commitment to innovation in the automotive sector.</p>
