The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently issued a notice concerning the second CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2026. This announcement outlines the procedures for the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC), which is crucial for students preparing for their upcoming examinations.

The LOC submission process is structured into three distinct phases. In Phase 1, students are required to fill in the LOC without any associated fees. This initial phase allows for a straightforward entry into the examination process.

Phases 2 and 3, however, involve more comprehensive actions. During these phases, students can submit, modify, drop, or add their candidature or subjects, along with the payment of the necessary examination fees. This flexibility is designed to accommodate students’ varying needs as they prepare for their exams.

Importantly, if a student opts not to take the second board exam after submitting the LOC and paying the exam fee, their performance in the main examination will be utilized to determine their final results. This policy aims to ensure that students are not penalized for changing their minds about participating in the second examination.
