Toolkit case: Delhi court grants bail to activist Disha Ravi | India News

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Tuesday granted bail to Bengaluru-based local weather activist Disha Ravi in reference to the toolkit case.
The court granted bail to 21-year-old activist on a private bond of Rs one lakh and two sureties of like quantity.
The court on Monday had despatched Disha Ravi to one-day police custody to be confronted with co-accused within the case – Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk. Jacob and Muluk joined the probe on Monday. They have been questioned on the Delhi Police Cyber Cell workplace in Dwarka.
The Delhi Police, probing the “toolkit Google doc” shared by local weather activist Greta Thunberg, had arrested Bengaluru-based activist Disha Ravi, whereas Jacob and Muluk have been granted pre-arrest bail by court.
Police had alleged that the toolkit Google doc, shared by local weather activist Greta Thunberg was a part of a worldwide conspiracy to create unrest and set off violence in India within the garb of the farmers’ protest towards the agri legal guidelines.
Farmers, principally from Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh, are protesting at varied border factors of Delhi demanding repeal of the Centre’s three new farm legal guidelines.
