The UPPSC Mains Examination 2026 was conducted on March 29, 2026, coinciding with the declaration of UPPCS 2024 results. Neha Panchal topped the UPPCS 2024 examination, marking a significant achievement in the competitive landscape of civil services in Uttar Pradesh.

Out of a total of 947 vacant posts in UPPCS 2024, 932 positions have been filled, showcasing a high level of competition among candidates. The examination process began with the preliminary examination held on December 22, 2024, where approximately 5.76 lakh applicants participated.

Following the preliminary stage, 15,066 candidates qualified for the main examination, which took place from June 29 to July 2, 2025. The subsequent interviews for UPPCS 2024 were conducted from February 16 to March 20, 2026, culminating in the announcement of results on the same day as the UPPSC Mains Examination.

The success rate for women in the UPPCS 2024 examination was notably 34.22%, with 319 women selected alongside 613 men. This highlights the growing participation and success of women in civil service examinations.

In addition to the UPPCS results, the UPPSC is currently conducting the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2025, aiming to fill 200 vacancies. This ongoing examination process reflects the continuous efforts of the UPPSC to recruit qualified candidates for various government positions.

Historically, the UPPCS-2024 examination faced protests demanding a single-day preliminary exam due to a paper leak incident, which raised concerns about the integrity of the examination process.

As the UPPSC continues to navigate these challenges, observers are keenly watching how these developments will influence future examinations and recruitment processes. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any further changes to the examination structure in response to past incidents.
