cbse class 12th result class 12 — IN news

CBSE has adopted a new On-Screen Marking system for the first time in 2026, aiming to improve transparency and efficiency in the evaluation process. The Class 12 results are expected to be declared on May 23, 2026, with over 18 lakh students eagerly awaiting their scores.

The Class 12 board examinations commenced on February 17, 2026, and concluded in March. To pass, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. The evaluation process is reportedly running smoothly, according to CBSE officials.

Where to access results:

  • The results will be available on cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.
  • Students can also check their scores via DigiLocker.
  • The UMANG app will provide access to the results as well.

Sanyam Bhardwaj, a senior official at CBSE, stated, “My evaluation is going very perfectly, better than the previous evaluation,” emphasizing confidence in the new system. He refuted claims of issues during the evaluation process: “I refute each and every thing which has been stated in some media news portal. These are false and everything is perfectly fine.”

Students should download and save a digital copy of their results from DigiLocker once they are available. They should also collect their original marksheet from their respective schools when it becomes available. Additionally, students are encouraged to begin researching colleges and completing admission forms.
