The NEET UG 2026 exam will take place on May 3, 2026, with a total of approximately 23 lakh candidates registered to participate. This medical entrance exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under stringent guidelines to maintain fairness and transparency.

The exam will run in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM in India. Candidates must arrive at their designated exam centres by 1:30 PM. For those taking the test in Dubai and Sharjah, the timings are adjusted to 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, while candidates in Riyadh will sit for the exam from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Candidates arriving late will face strict penalties. In Dubai and Sharjah, entry will be denied after 12 noon, while those in Riyadh must arrive before 11 AM. To gain entry, candidates must present their NEET UG 2026 admit card along with a valid photo ID and passport-size photographs.

The examination consists of a total of 180 questions, which collectively carry a maximum score of 720 marks. To ensure security and integrity, biometric verification will be implemented at all exam centres. Additionally, candidates must adhere to a strict dress code and avoid bringing prohibited items such as electronic gadgets.
